Fulton County’s grant for $250,000 jumpstarted the Legacy Center’s Task Force and paid for a comprehensive financial feasibility study by Convergent Nonprofit Solutions. Fulton County Commissioner and Legacy Center Task Force Member Liz Hausmann said, “When this wonderful project became more of a reality — and I feel confident it will be a reality — I felt Fulton County needed to be a partner.”

Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra

“Maestro J. Wayne Baughman, the Orchestra Founder, has been the long-standing champion of the Legacy Center. We will bring the foremost orchestra in suburban Atlanta to the Legacy Center and make Johns Creek the home of outstanding music in North Fulton.”

North Atlanta Dance Academy

North Atlanta Dance Academy, established in 1997, has been a long standing advocate for a cultural center in Johns Creek. The Legacy Center would not only be a much needed performance space, but most importantly an economic asset for the residents and businesses of Johns Creek.

Musik21

Musik21 will support Johns Creek Legacy Center by presenting our recitals there. We offer lessons for piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, saxophone, voice, and music composition and theory. Our students have participated in national and international competitions levels, and performed at Carnegie Hall.

William Pu Music Academy

The William Pu Music Academy proudly teaches some of the finest young musicians in Johns Creek and surrounding communities. The Legacy Center would make an excellent home for our recitals and annual showcase concert.

Chopin Society of Atlanta

The Chopin Society of Atlanta is a non-profit organization that since early 2000 has been devoted to promoting Fryderyk Chopin’s music, and is committed to performing at the Legacy Center. The Society funds annual scholarships for the piano students to participate in international piano master classes in Europe.

Arts On The Creek

“Arts On The Creek, which established the City’s first arts festival, is committed to exhibiting our high school students’ artwork in the Legacy Center. This gallery will give our students the opportunity to show their work in Johns Creek’s finest setting.”

Fleetwood Dance Center

Fleetwood Dance Center is celebrating 31 years in Johns Creek. Founded in 1960 by Carolyn P. Fleetwood, the school continues to educate students in the performing arts and is one of the oldest dance schools in the Atlanta area. The Legacy Center will not only bring our performances back to Johns Creek but also showcase the exceptional talent we have in our community.

Johns Creek Historical Society

The Johns Creek Historical Society researches, preserves, and shares the history of the land, events, and people of the area that is today’s City of Johns Creek. We support the Legacy Center as a hub of cultural activity including a possible home for history exhibits and archives.

Aparna’s Dance Academy

“Aparna’s Dance Academy hosts annual event every year in the month of May. We will love to use the facility near our studio.”

Atlanta Festival Academy

“The Atlanta Festival Academy brings young musicians, renowned instructors, and world-class performers from around the globe to Johns Creek for a two-week summer music camp. The Legacy Center would be the perfect venue for our master classes, rehearsals and orchestral concerts.”

Johns Creek Cricket Association

Johns Creek Cricket Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the goal of bringing cricket lovers together to make Johns Creek a destination city for cricket in the Southeast. JCCricket believes the Legacy Center will be a great addition for our diverse population to promote visual and performing arts.
